Wonderful Belgian family arrived here three nights ago. Good people. Groovy kids. They decided to do the Maya Caves tour and fell in love with the Maya community in Cobanera and decided to do a two-week homestay with a wonderful Q’eqchi’ Maya family. Antonio and Monica from Spain spent a few days with la Danta Project, we shared the Maya Trail Love and Antonio generously supported all that we are doing here, for the Maya communities, for the Maya ruins, the ancient Maya jungle and the amazing animals that call Petén Guatemala.

Buying fertilizer to apply calcium and potassium to the soil is silly. Dried egg shells, banana skins and citrus skins have everything you need. Grind and apply to your garden and plants for a slow release calcium + potassium fertilizer. Add the DIY Calcium+Potassium Fertilizer mix when transplanting or sowing new plants. Recycle that stuff.
